Milei to Attend the Closing of the Major Agricultural Expo in San Nicolás

President Javier Milei will once again attend the annual agricultural exhibition held in San Nicolás, Buenos Aires. Despite closely monitoring the severe flooding in Bahía Blanca, the President is expected to attend Expoagro on Friday, March 14, the final day of the event.

Several key government officials will also be present throughout the expo, which runs from Tuesday, March 11, to Friday, March 14. Attendees include Chief of Cabinet Guillermo Francos, Deputy Interior Cabinet Chief Lisandro Catalán, and Secretary of National Production Coordination Pablo Lavigne.

Milei’s Previous Presence at Expoagro

Last year, on March 5, Milei visited San Nicolás alongside Congressman José Luis Espert, his sister and Presidential Secretary Karina Milei, and other officials. During his speech, he addressed lifting currency controls and policies favoring the agricultural sector.

“Freedom will allow you to once again be the engine of Argentina’s growth. The idea is to lift currency controls as soon as possible,” said Milei.

At the time, he emphasized his government’s economic measures aimed at reducing inflation. This year, Milei is expected to tour the exhibition, and it is highly likely that in his address, he will discuss the progress of his economic plan and policies impacting the agricultural sector over the first 15 months of his administration, including the reduction of export taxes.
