[Milei Supports Adorni in CABA Elections During Record-Breaking Livestream Appearance]

In a bold display of media savvy and political commitment, Argentine President Javier Milei appeared on the viral streaming show La Misa, hosted by libertarian influencer Daniel “El Gordo Dan” Parisini. Joined by presidential spokesperson and candidate for Buenos Aires City Legislature, Manuel Adorni, the broadcast made history as the longest interview ever given by a sitting Argentine president—lasting over six hours.

The appearance served as a clear show of support for Adorni’s candidacy in the upcoming May 18th local elections, reinforcing Milei’s strategy to expand La Libertad Avanza’s influence in the capital.

Dos personas sentadas en un estudio de grabación con micrófonos, una de ellas gesticulando mientras habla, hay una bandera de Argentina en el fondo y botellas sobre la mesa.

Throughout the livestream, Milei delivered his trademark straight talk, even jokingly asking the host if he was “writing down the names of journalists I need to jail and officials I should fire.” His remarks were sharp and unapologetic, calling certain members of the media “a bunch of mentally deficient mandrills,” while also defending libertarian journalist Mariano Pérez from mainstream media criticism.

The president took direct aim at the opposition PRO party, criticizing its role in the Senate’s recent rejection of the Clean Record Law (Ley de Ficha Limpia), which would ban corrupt politicians from holding office. “The PRO has governed the City for 17 years and never passed Clean Record,” Milei stated, highlighting their resistance to anti-corruption reform.

He also raised concerns about Buenos Aires Mayor Jorge Macri, suggesting irregularities in governance and pointing to past political agreements that undermined transparency.

Milei’s participation in La Misa, streamed on CarajoTV, underscores a deliberate effort to bypass traditional media and engage directly with young libertarian audiences. The show has become a key platform for alternative political discourse and the rising tide of Argentina’s New Right.
