Buenos Aires, Argentina – The government of President Javier Milei is preparing to launch a new program called “Military Family,” an initiative designed to provide discounts and benefits to members of the Armed Forces and their families. The program, which will be implemented in early September through the Ministry of Defense, seeks to offer various promotions without incurring additional costs for the state.
The system will be based on agreements with private companies that will grant the discounts. In return, these companies will gain access to a potential market of approximately 1.1 million people, which includes active and retired members, reservists, civilian personnel and their families, as well as veterans of the Malvinas War. The benefits will cover multiple sectors, from supermarkets and clothing to tourism, health, education, and technology.
To access the program, beneficiaries will only have to present their ID and CUIL, while participating businesses will display a special emblem. The objective of the initiative is not only to offer economic relief but also to foster a sense of recognition and gratitude from society toward military personnel.
