Buenos Aires, Argentina – Argentine President Javier Milei participated virtually in the “Europa Viva 25” event in Madrid, organized by the Spanish party Vox. In his brief dialogue with Vox’s Gonzalo Abascal, Milei expressed his regret for not being able to attend in person, citing his need to remain in Argentina to defend the achievements of his administration.

The central part of his six-minute speech focused on the recent assassination of right-wing activist Charlie Kirk in Utah, USA. Milei identified with Kirk, noting that they both began their political activism “in solitude or with small groups of people.” He referred to Kirk as a “martyr” and an “exemplary warrior in the field of the battle of ideas,” describing his murder as a clear illustration of “what the left truly is in its pure state: hatred and resentment.”

Milei’s message also included a strong critique of the left, whom he accused of being a “violent and hateful phenomenon” and of labeling him and other like-minded figures as “ultras” or “extremists.” He concluded by encouraging the attendees to not give up and expressed his confidence that, together with Abascal and Vox, they could “get Spain back on its feet” just as he is doing in Argentina.
